I hope to post activity challenges often. These will be easy to do simply to remind me (or any of us who needs it) to get down and actually play with our kids. I don’t know about you, but I am often so consumed with the house, cooking, “watching” the kids, etc. that I realize at the end of the day I spent little to no time just having fun with them. Anyone else struggle with this?
So, today’s challenge is to play one of those classic games we grew up playing, like
- Red Light, Green Light
- Mother, May I
- Red Rover
- Duck, Duck Goose
- Simons Says
- Tag
- Follow the Leader
Keep in mind that these games can be adapted to children of any age or any number of children and many can be played indoors or outdoors. There’s no right or wrong way to play these games, so pick one or two and have fun today.
